I’ve been a fused glass artist for 25 years.  My main outlets are C’ville Arts (a co-operative gallery in Charlottesville, VA) and the Vienna Arts Society, in my hometown of Vienna, VA. In addition, every year in November or December, I open up my home to a dozen or so other northern Virginia artists for a three-day holiday gift show.

Before discovering glass, I founded Church Street Graphics and produced — um — graphics.  And even earlier, I loved making batiks and teaching this fascinating art form to others.

Glass is still my true love, and I hope to continue creating glass art for a long time.  However, the work is physically taxing and involves lots of standing, lots of spilled blood, and lots of expensive materials and equipment.  Alcohol inks involve none of those things.  They are a great way to just play and have fun with pure, lively, brilliant color.
